Our school provides a nurturing classroom environment optimally structured to allow each child to reach his or her full potential, both academically and socially. Our low teacher to student ratio and homogeneous student population allow for the learning environment to be structured for each child’s unique academic needs. These individual needs are met by a curriculum tailored to the child’s specific learning style and abilities, and delivered by certified special education teachers and aides. Socially, our students display increases in self-esteem and appropriate expression of their unique personalities.
We are currently serving 38 students in three classrooms, grouped by age and ability level. Our students come to Green Oaks School from 11 different school districts in the North Texas area
